To
ensure Our hosted web pages get to users
fast, our data center is directly linked
to the world’s best Internet backbones
such as UUNET, Sprint, AT&T and Level
3. We currently have two DS3’s (At&T,
UUNET) and two OC3’s (Sprint, Level
3). Most users can reach Our data center
via a single backbone which avoids the common
network problem: traffic jam at the backbone
intersections.
We purchase our backbone
connections from these top rated providers
where network uptime is guaranteed. We
do not exchange traffic free with other
providers at public exchange points such
as MAE-East and MAE-West. Such peering
agreement has no service quality guarantee.
You often see packet loss at these public
exchange points. Our state-of-the-art
Internet data center is engineered for
high performance and redundancy. It has
rich fiber connections to all major carriers
and scalable bandwidth capacity from OC3
to OC192.
Our Data Center Equipment
We only uses top brand high performance
reliable equipment and servers. Our network
is a 100% Cisco network. We use Cisco
routers and Cisco switches. No hubs!.
We offer and support advanced Internet
tools such as load balancing, clustering,
firewalls, cache, data storage devices,
etc.
We use only up-to-date
powerful servers. Unlike some low-end
server hosting companies, we do not use
any Celeron, AMD and Cyrix chips. We use
only Intel chips designed for servers.
Our Data Center Power Protection
The building in which Our DC resides is
supplied with triple power feeds from
the utility company. In the event of a
power outage, the data center is equipped
with a 1500 KVA ONAN diesel generator.
The generator is tested every week. When
a power outage is detected, the generator
will start automatically within 15 seconds.
With one tank of gas in the generator,
it can power 15000 servers for 36 hours.
Fuel can be added to keep the network
up and running indefinitely.
The data center also uses an MGE data
center Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
This UPS has been installed to constantly
monitor and regulate the quality of power
coming from the wall so that equipment
always receives the clean 120-volt power
for which it was designed.
Our Data Center Cooling
Systems
Our data center is protected by redundant
Liebert indoor cooling systems and is
kept at an optimal temperature.
These cooling systems provide precise,
reliable control of room temperature,
humidity, and airflow that improves operating
conditions for sensitive electronic equipment.
Our Data Center Fire Protection
System
Our data center is engineered to be protected
from fire damage. It has concrete floors,
all steel structure, fire proof walls,
and steel framed racks. There is no flammable
material’s inside the data center
area.
Our data center is equipped
with pre-action fire suppression systems,
which prevents accidental spray when there
is a false fire alarm. If a true fire
should occur our system will uppress and
put out the fire.
Our Data Center Security
In addition to our building being monitored
by security guards 24x7, access to Our
data center can only be achieved through
a single access point which is operated
by a state-of-the-art access control system.
Since all employees have to use access
codes to access to the building, a detailed
record of employee and visitor entry is
maintained at all times.
Fewer employees have access
to responsive areas of the data center
and must pass through multi-point security
checks, including bio-metric readers,
for data center access. The inner vault
of the data center is monitored 24 x 7
by our on-site Service Management Center
(SMC) staff.
